GALAMSEY -A MAJOR DISTRUCTIVE CANKER TO OUR ENVIRONMENT.

The Green Ghana event has been marked successfully in the Asante Mampong Municipality.                                                                                      Some institutions, notably the St Monica's College of Education also threw their weight behind the government to compliment the government efforts.

During the event, Rev Prof Korankye called on Ghanaians to see galamsey as a major impediment towards the success of the Green Ghana Project

.   He explained that ,the cascading effects of galamsey are voluminous therefore  all hands must be put on the desk to crump it down to ensure smooth sustainability of it.
He also unveiled that his auspices are inculcating a befitting knowledge especially on how the green environment could be protected to the students at their end.
