CHELSEA SWEEP PAST DJURGARDEN

Chelsea have secured their place in the UEFA Conference League final after a dominant 5–1 aggregate victory over Swedish side Djurgården. The Blues completed the job at Stamford Bridge with a 1–0 win in the second leg, thanks to a goal from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, assisted by rising star Tyrique George.
The match also marked a milestone as 16-year-old Reggie Walsh made his full debut, becoming the youngest English player to start in a major European competition.
Chelsea had already built a strong lead with a commanding 4–1 win in the first leg in Stockholm, featuring goals from Jadon Sancho, Noni Madueke, and two from Nicolas Jackson.
They will now face Spanish club Real Betis in the final, who reached their first-ever European final after edging out Fiorentina 4–3 on aggregate. Betis clinched a 2–2 draw in Florence, with Ez Abde scoring the decisive goal in extra time.
The final, set for May 28 at Wrocław Stadium in Poland, will also feature an intriguing battle between Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca and his former mentor Manuel Pellegrini, now in charge of Betis. The winner will earn a place in the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League.
