100 mono desks are donated by LT Col. Justina Frampong to Alma Mater on Friday, May 10, 2024,in order to promot and encourage teaching and learning,

Lt Col Justina Frimpong is the first female Commanding Officer (CO) of the Transportation Battalion Unit of the Ghana Armed Forces, Originating from Koforidua Oyoko in the Eastern Region. She attended Ghana Senior High School in Koforidua and subsequently pursued her studies in Operations and Supply Chain Management at Green Hill College, Gimpa.

This led to the donation when Lt Col Justina Frimpong paid the school a courtesy call during the 67th Independence Day Anniversary celebration held in Koforidua, the school administrators made an appeal to her over the lack of furniture in the building.

Lt Col Frimpong, a former student of Ghana Senior High School, gave a brief speech during which she stated that she visited the school and became moved by the state of affairs there, leading her to resolve to assist them. She declared that she owed the school more than what she had contributed and that she would get in touch with her 1999 year group to offer any support the school could need.

The Headmistress, Mrs. Diana Akosua Mintah,On behalf of the administration, expressed appreciation by thanking Lt Col Justina Frimpong for the thoughtful gift. The addition of one hundred (100) mono desks will significantly lessen the school's furniture shortfall, according to the headmaster.

She took the chance to passionately plead with other interested parties, philanthropists, non-governmental organisations, and most importantly, Lt Col Frimpong and her year group, to assist the school in renovating the roofing on the assembly hall and the restrooms in the ladies' dormitories.
