Team Eternity deserves Kwame Mickey's forgiveness on Defe Defe Song - Ohemaa Mercy

The usage of the phrase "Defe Defe" by Team Eternity Ghana in their most recent song has sparked controversy, and renowned gospel performer Ohemaa Mercy has asked music producer Kwame Mickey to put an end to it.

Ohemaa Mercy voiced her reservations,Concerned about possible copyright infringement in an interview with DJ Slim on Hitz FM's Daybreak Hitz,
Team Eternity deserves Kwame Mickey's forgiveness because they've done well. Here, copyright is not applicable.
"Defe defe" is a daily expression in our hometown of Kumasi. In fact, I've included "monnyae me" in a few of my songs previously. Some of the words may seem like they stole them, but in reality, we use them all the time.
Simply put, you are sharing your own testimony of God's grace. "Defe Defe" literally translates as "the devil would have destroyed me if it weren't for God's intervention."

"Please, Bro Kwame, just leave this matter alone; these are common sayings," she pleaded.
Using the occasion to make a heartfelt plea to Kwame Mickey to stop dragging the issue, Ohemaa Mercy said that she has a tight relationship with Team Eternity, who are members of her Royal Fan group.
God is using this song to encourage and bring smiles to people's faces, therefore I'm asking with him to keep it that way. You could tell by the reaction of the crowd yesterday during the group's performance at Joe Mettle's Praiz Reloaded.
She advised him to take it easy since the song is becoming popular over the world.

An earlier version of this article, stated that Kwame Mickey, a US-based music and film executive producer of the hit "Defe Defe" by Hallelujah Voices, has accused Team Eternity Ghana of copyright infringement for utilizing the identical vocal line in their own song.
He vented his frustrations online, asking, "Who is that Defe Defe singer?" They will accuse me of being disruptive if I speak up right now.

I don't understand how the two songs are different. She needs to report and take action, someone please tell her.Mr. Kwame Mickey took it a step further by accusing Team Eternity of copyright infringement and demanding that Facebook remove the "Defe Defe" music video until the matter was settled.
