MAHAMA LAUNCHES REGIONAL TOUR TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION
REGIONAL TOUR

Former President John Dramani Mahama has officially begun a “Thank You” tour across three key regions—Bono East, Bono, and Ahafo—starting today, Thursday, May 29, 2025. This initiative is aimed at expressing his sincere gratitude to the residents for their strong support during the December 2024 general elections.
The tour commenced in the Bono East Region, where Mahama was warmly received by traditional leaders and enthusiastic residents during a ceremonial durbar. Speaking at the event, he reaffirmed his dedication to inclusive governance and equitable development, emphasizing the importance of community engagement in shaping national priorities.
As part of the tour, Mahama is expected to outline key development plans and highlight projects that will enhance the socio-economic conditions of people in the three regions.
The second phase of the tour will take place in the Bono Region on Friday, May 30, with a visit to Sunyani, the regional capital. The tour will conclude on Saturday, May 31, in Goaso, the capital of the Ahafo Region, where another durbar is scheduled.
This outreach forms part of Mahama’s broader efforts to stay connected with the grassroots and maintain open dialogue with the citizenry. It also underscores his continued commitment to unity and progress as the country looks toward the future.
