GNFS RAISES ALARM OVER LIFE- THREATHENING PRANK CALLS.

THREATHEN PRANK CALLS

Ghana-National-Fire-Service

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has expressed deep concern over the growing number of prank calls to its emergency lines, warning that these hoaxes are putting lives at risk. According to the Service, such calls divert critical resources and personnel away from genuine emergencies, often causing dangerous delays in response times.

Authorities emphasized that every false alarm wastes time and fuel, and could cost lives when real fire outbreaks occur. The GNFS is urging the public to take emergency services seriously and is calling for stricter penalties for those who make hoax calls.

They stressed that emergency lines should be used responsibly, as the consequences of misuse can be fatal.
