The police have requested the assistance of A-Plus in conducting investigations into the death of Ahmed Suale.

The police have asked singer Kwame Asare Obeng, better known by his stage as A-Plus, to help with the investigation into journalist Ahmed-Hussein Suale's killing.

The police invitation is a response to A-Plus' recent assertions on social media that he possesses pertinent information pertaining to the case.

Ahmed-Hussein Suale, a collaborator of renowned investigative journalist Anas Amereyaw Anas, was subjected to multiple gunshots by two unidentified individuals on motorcycles on January 16, 2019, when he was driving in Madina, Accra.

The problem, which gained prominence in the Ghanaian media and other international media outlets, remains unresolved with the police.

Nevertheless, A-Plus, during a recent live video on social media, asserted to possess pertinent details on the demise of Ahmed Suale.

In a statement released on Monday, July 15, 2024, the Police expressed satisfaction with Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng's (A-Plus) willingness to provide information that could be helpful in the continuing investigation into Ahmed Suale's death.
