Tullow Ghana has successfully resumed gas supply to the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant after operations were temporarily disrupted due to a technical issue on the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel at the Jubilee Field.

The incident occurred on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at approximately 4:30 PM, causing an unexpected halt in gas delivery to the Atuabo facility. In response, Tullow Ghana, in collaboration with the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and the Ghana National Gas Company, launched immediate efforts to diagnose and resolve the problem.

By Monday, May 12, 2025, gas exports were fully restored, with supply levels reaching around 100 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd). Notably, oil production from the FPSO continued uninterrupted during the gas supply downtime.

This swift resolution highlights the coordinated efforts of stakeholders in Ghana’s energy sector to ensure operational stability and energy supply security.
