AQUA

The Chamber of Aquaculture Ghana (COA) is intensifying efforts to attract international investment to bolster the nation's aquaculture sector. While there is no specific mention of Spanish investors in the available sources, the Chamber has been actively engaging with various international partners to promote collaboration and innovation within the industry.

One of the key initiatives is the annual "Aquaculture Ghana" event, which serves as a platform to showcase innovations, facilitate networking, and discuss investment opportunities in the aquaculture sector. The event aims to bring together stakeholders, including investors, to explore avenues for growth and sustainability in aquaculture.

In addition to these efforts, the Chamber has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the American Soybean Association’s World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (ASA/WISHH) to enhance aquaculture sustainability and development in Ghana. This partnership focuses on providing employment opportunities for graduates of aquaculture training programs and promoting sustainable practices within the industry.

Furthermore, the Chamber has collaborated with the Israeli Embassy to introduce innovative Israeli technologies aimed at enhancing aquaculture production in Ghana. This collaboration underscores the Chamber's commitment to leveraging international expertise to address challenges and improve efficiency in the sector.

While specific engagements with Spanish investors have not been highlighted, the Chamber's ongoing initiatives and international collaborations reflect its dedication to attracting diverse investments and fostering global partnerships to advance Ghana's aquaculture industry.
