The Parliamentary Select Committee on Works and Housing has praised Dredge Masters for their vital role in addressing flood challenges in Accra. During an inspection of ongoing dredging projects, the committee acknowledged the company's effective efforts in cleaning and maintaining key waterways across the city.

According to the committee, these interventions have significantly helped reduce the severity of flooding in flood-prone areas of the capital, especially during the rainy season. They emphasized the need for continued support and collaboration between the public and private sectors to sustain flood control initiatives.

The lawmakers also stressed the importance of regular maintenance and public awareness campaigns to prevent the indiscriminate disposal of waste, which often clogs drainage systems and worsens flooding.
