Inter Milan sealed a spot in the UEFA Champions League final after an electrifying 4-3 extra-time win over Barcelona at the San Siro, earning a 7-6 aggregate victory. The Italian side will now play in the final at Munich’s Allianz Arena on May 31.

The semi-final clash was action-packed. Inter started strong with goals from Lautaro Martínez and Hakan Çalhanoğlu (penalty), giving them a 2-0 lead. Barcelona responded with strikes from Eric García and Dani Olmo. Raphinha’s late goal in the 87th minute looked to have sealed the tie, but Francesco Acerbi equalized in added time to force extra time.

Davide Frattesi scored the match-winner in the 97th minute, sending Inter through. Goalkeeper Yann Sommer was a standout performer, delivering seven key saves, including a crucial stop against Lamine Yamal in the 113th minute.

Though eliminated, Barcelona’s Raphinha equaled Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 21 goal involvements in a single Champions League season (13 goals, 8 assists). The defeat also sees Barcelona match Real Madrid's record for most semi-final exits in the competition — eight in total.

Inter now await the winner between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal for the final showdown.
