
The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, is set to deliver the keynote address at the 18th edition of the West African Mining and Power Expo (WAMPEX) in 2025. The event will take place from May 28 to 30 at the Accra International Conference Centre and the Grand Arena in Accra, Ghana.
As the keynote speaker, Minister Buah will open discussions on sustainable resource management, attracting investments, and fostering regional collaboration within the mining and energy sectors. WAMPEX 2025 is expected to be the largest edition of the expo, featuring over 200 exhibitors from 10 countries and attracting more than 7,000 attendees. The event will showcase innovations in the mining and power industries, with the conference addressing key topics such as sustainable practices, economic empowerment, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues in the sector.
