NPP WESTERN NORTH REGIONAL CHAIRMAN INTENSIFIES CAMPAIGN AT SEFWI BEKWAI

The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Western North Region, Hon Benjamin Armah has taken the campaign trail to Sefwi Bekwai, a town in Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency.

Among other things, the Regional Chairman, also known as Bia Nyamekye, stormed Sefwi Bekwai to canvas for more votes for H.E. Dr. Bawumia and Hon Alfred Obeng-Boateng. At a fundraising ceremony of Muslims towards the establishment and construction of an Islamic Senior High School, the Chairman, Chronicled the achievements of both the ruling party and the member of Parliament to the congregation.

Touching on the Zongo Development Fund, a special policy by the NPP government to enhance the development of Zongos, Hon Armah outlined the construction of several mechanized boreholes, provision of furniture, construction of astroturfs, provision of educational infrastructure and scholarships for Zongo residents to pursue further studies abroad.

The Regional Chairman recommended Dr Mohamudu Bawumia to the Muslims citing his immense contributions to the government. The Chairman mentioned Drones, Agenda 111, Digitalization of Health Insurance through Mobile money payment of membership renewals. Digitalization of the ECG and Mobile money interoperability. He further continued with the issuance of Ghanacard and the no guarantor system for student loans.

In furtherance to the above, the chairman reiterated the importance of the Free SHS and the essence of enrolling their children to access Secondary Education. Hon. Armah reaffirmed the government's commitment to protecting the Free SHS and TVET to ensure equity, access, and quality education. He hinted that over 5.7 million youth have benefitted from the policy. Mr Armah was optimistic about the policy's reduction of social vices and improvements in the income levels of families. "Maintain NPP to safeguard Free SHS", he asserted.

On the Member of Parliament, the Chairman commended him for facilitating the construction of an astroturf for the town and lobbying for the construction of Basic Schools and roads. Numerous Mechanized boreholes dotted across the surrounding communities were also not left out. 

Mr. Armah is known for his experience and innovation in politics since he has been DCE for Juaboso and Bia respectively. An undisclosed amount of money was donated by the regional chairman towards the project.

Colonel Aduhene, Rtd Army Officer, commended the NPP government and Hon Alfred Obeng-Boateng for his immense contributions towards the regional creation. He urged the Muslims to vote massively for the NPP presidential and Parliamentary candidates to limit the inconveniences in accessing the regional capitals. 

The duo was accompanied by Yunus Abubakr, Regional Nasara Coordinator, SK Ibrahim, Bibiani Nasara Coordinator, and Mumuni, Zonal campaign coordinator for Zongo residents.
