NDC Clarifies and refutes Misunderstanding with Dromankese Traditional Leaders.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nkoranza North Constituency led by the party's communications officer, Osei-Nyamekye Benign, has addressed a viral video involving traditional chiefs in Dromankese, expressing dissatisfaction with former President John Mahama's recent visit with invoking of curses.

Some sub-chiefs of Dromankese invoked curses on NDC in attempt to campaign in Dromankese due to failure to visit the Chiefs of the Traditional area.
They, the NDC emphasized that they informed the chief of Dromankese about the visit and modalities, and that the video misrepresents their agreement.
The party also highlighted Mahama's good relationship with traditional leaders, citing his 2020 visit to the chief's palace spending about 45 minutes in the Chiefs palace.
They urged supporters to remain calm while they engage with traditional authorities to resolve the misunderstandings.
The NDC emphasized their respect for tradition and culture, condemning politically motivated actions aimed at ruining their relationship with traditional leaders.
"We respect tradition and culture and will not intentionally engage in any contemptuous actions against our traditional authorities", Benign stated.
