Inspection by the Committee on Roads and Transportation.

The Kasoa-Winneba and Adenta-Dodowa Roads are being inspected by the Committee on Roads and Transportation.

Members of the Committee on Roads and Transportation have visited the Central Region's Kasoa-Winneba restoration and upgrading site.
Chairman of the Committee and Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru in the Eastern Region, Hon. Kennedy Osei Nyarko, spearheaded the delegation.
In his presentation to the Committee, Stephen Tawiah, the Project Manager of the Contraction Company MM Delovely Company Limited, ING, stated that the project was commissioned on March 29, 2024, and is projected to be finished in 36 months.Additionally, he mentioned that the Ghanaian Contraction Company is operating on entirely funded projects from the Ghanaian government's Ministry of Roads and Highways.

There would be compensation for those impacted by the project, according to ING. Dr. Abass Awolu, chief director of the ministry of roads and highways.
Additionally, the Committee proceeded to the 22-kilometer-long Adenta-Dodowa Road (R40) in order to examine the Design-Build Dualization project.
Oswal Investment Limited's Director of Projects, Ing. Rosby Kone-Mensah, reported that the project's development had been consistent. The temporary structures have been removed and razed, and all roadside drains have been replaced, he added.

Despite the difficulties caused by the encroached properties on the reservation, he continued, the company is moving forward with the project.
Hon. Osei Nyarko was pleased with both initiatives. He urged the builders to move more quickly so that traffic would be less congested. To prevent lawsuits, he said the government should pay all affected people's outstanding compensation.
